We've Been Busy

No big commentary for these, but I thought you all might like to see what we've been up to with the boys.

First off, last Wednesday we took advantage of the Indians coming to Kansas City to take the the boys to their first major league baseball game. Anthony was really excited, as you can tell:

I would post the picture of Dominic and me, except that I look demented--most likely because the Indians were in the process of getting swept by the worst team in baseball. Which was a fitting introduction to the world of Cleveland sports for my doomed children.

For Mothers Day we went with our neighbors to the Kansas City Zoo. It was a perfect day--sunny most of the time and cool but not cold. Plus the zoo is excellent. I didn't take any pictures of it, but the bridge over the river to the gorilla section looked an awful lot like the bridge on the River Kwai. I kept expecting Obi Won to show up with the humming Jawas from Spaceballs. Never happened. But my wife did take a damn fine picture of the gorilla:

Plus Mommy got to spend some quality outside time with her boys.

And you can get really close to the elephants at the KC zoo. Amazing critters, them:

Our friend James will be pleased to know that I am wearing the All Blacks shirt he got me in that picture. It's a great shirt, and I don't mind wearing it because my beloved Cleveland sports teams haven't yet figured out how to lose to the New Zealand national rugby team. We'll get there.

Which brings me to what's been consuming our lives the most over the last few weeks. Here's a hint:

Okay, I'll admit it, the boys don't seem quite as interested in the playoffs as their old man.

So, for good measure, I tickled them:
